The story

I'm Cris Maturana, a Chilean documentary and portrait photographer based in Hội An, Vietnam since 2024. I've spent over 15 years behind the camera telling real stories about real people.

This year I was invited to exhibit a selection of my portraits as part of the Vietnam Creative Awards, at the Fine Arts Museum in Ho Chi Minh City — sharing the space with other local and international artists.

Exhibiting in a museum comes with a cost that, as an independent photographer, I cover myself: large-format fine art printing and professional framing, to the standard the space requires. This is where I'm asking for a hand — your contribution translates directly into these images hanging on a museum wall, instead of staying in a digital folder.
